Performance Fees

A $250 performance fee is assessed for each dancer/per production. This fee is due prior to the first rehearsal (unless prior arrangements have been made (cyb@charlotteyouthballet.org)).

Company Fees

In addition to the performance fee, there is a $150 fee for Senior Company, Company and Apprentice Membership. It is not a requirement to be a part of the Company to dance with CYB. For more information, see our Company page.

Other Requirements

Volunteering: Each family is required to serve on a volunteer team, especially during the performance weekend. We are firm about this commitment as CYB is run exclusively by volunteers and without them we simply couldn’t function. There are a wide variety of options to suit nearly any interest and schedule. Volunteers working directly with our youth are required to complete a background check. Families who cannot meet the volunteer requirement will be assessed a $350 fee. Fees assessed must be paid prior to future CYB participation.

Ticket sales: We ask that each family sell a MINIMUM of five (5) performance tickets for each production your dancer participates in (The Nutcracker and Spring Show), regardless of family participation in patron campaigns.

Fundraising: All Company dancers are expected to participate in fundraising.

Publicity: As a non-profit arts company for youth, we rely on everyone to share our news and events with the community.

PERFORMANCE FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THE  DANCER CAN PARTICIPATE AND ATTEND REHEARSALS.
