Other requirements:

Volunteering: Each family is required to serve on a volunteer team, especially during the performance weekend. We are firm about this commitment because CYB is run exclusively by volunteers and without them we simply couldn’t function. There are a wide variety of options to suit nearly any interest and schedule. Volunteers working directly with our youth are required to complete a background check. Families who cannot meet the volunteer requirement will be assessed a $350 fee. Fees assessed must be paid prior to future CYB participation.

Ticket sales: Each family is required to sell a MINIMUM of five (5) performance tickets for The Nutcracker regardless of family participation in patron campaigns. Families who cannot meet the ticket sale requirement will be assessed a $100 fee. Fees assessed must be paid prior to future CYB participation.

Fundraising: All dancers are expected to participate in fundraising. As a non-profit arts company for youth, we rely on everyone to share our news and events with the community.

PLEASE NOTE: All CYB programming is contingent on COVID-19 infection rates and state safety protocols. Adjustments to, postponement of and/or cancellation may be necessary as we will adhere to all state and local regulations for the safety of everyone. If CYB alters the program, you will be notified of the new plan and may choose to withdraw at that time.
